Southwest Metroplex Baptist Association is a network of sixty-two Southern Baptist churches in and around Johnson County, TX.

Founded in 1864 as the Alvarado Baptist Association, the Southwest Metroplex Baptist Association (SWMBA) seeks to
strengthen and plant churches while working to create an environment conducive to revival and spiritual awakening.

Although each SWMBA related church is autonomous and unique, we partner together to provide ongoing fellowship between churches and leaders, leadership development, mission opportunities, and relevant community ministries.
